The health of your employees is critical to your business success. Lawrence & Memorial provides a cooperative Wellness Program to improve the physical and mental well being of your employees. A wellness program provides personal risk assessment, on-sight screening and educational programs, and targets identified health risks. The overall goals of the program are:
- Healthier and happier people with improved self-esteem
- Increased job performance
- Decreased sick leave days
- Lower health plan utilization
- Faster recovery from injury
A Wellness Coordinator can plan the wellness programs based on your business' specific needs, interests and budget. These programs will
- Promote learning (i.e., seminar)
- Encourage participation in programs (i.e., Get Healthy Challenge)
- Encourage healthy lifestyle changes (i.e., weight management)
- Encourage compliance with professional health advice (i.e., flu shots)
- Encourage initiation and/or maintenance of healthy behaviors (i.e., aerobics, walking programs)
- Recognize individual and/or group accomplishments
- Promote personal health and well-being
- Promote injury prevention
Typical services provided by or organized through a Wellness Coordinator can include (but are not limited to):
- Flu shots
