Lawrence & Memorial Hospital provides quality diagnostic, therapeutic and preventive cardiac services to patients with diseases or disorders of the heart. We provide care for both patients admitted into the hospital as well as outpatients.
It is hard to rise above the noise of the marketplace where other facilities promote their cardiac services but we do. It is our mission to provide quality cardiac diagnostic, therapeutic and preventive care to our community. When you have your study with us, we commit to you: available openings to fit your personal schedule, use of diagnostic equipment/technology which is cutting edge, friendly, competent and experienced clinical staff, highly personalized care and interpretation by a board certified physician.
The L&M Cardiac Services are one of the regions busiest and finest. We are a cardiac center of excellence so valuable to our community. L&M Hospital is the only hospital in Southeastern Connecticut to offer an emergency angioplasty service for acute heart attack. For patients recovering from a heart attack, L&M offers a three phase cardiac rehabilitation program which takes a patient from sophisticated inpatient care on our Coronary Care Unit, to outpatient care at the hospital, to lifelong community-based exercise and monitoring.
