The Department of Psychiatry provides an intensive outpatient program for those individuals who need the structure of a clinical program without the 24-hour nursing care found on an inpatient service. This program is also beneficial for those individuals seeking to avoid an inpatient hospitalization or for those who have recently been discharged from an inpatient program and feel they need the added support to successfully complete their treatment.
