The Department of Psychiatry provides emergency psychiatric assessment, treatment and disposition through the hospital's Emergency Department in New London only. These services are not currently available at the Pequot Health Center. Crisis Services are available 365 days a year from 8:00 AM - 11:00 PM. These services are available on a first come, first served basis with no appointment necessary. However, physicians and other care providers who are referring patients to the Crisis Team for assessment are requested to call the Crisis office in advance to help expedite treatment.
