L&M's Emergency Services are available at the hospital's Emergency Care Department in New London, as well as the
Pequot Health Center in Groton. Working together with the area's emergency responders, these emergency care centers treat every type of patient from the critically ill and the trauma victim, to children with high fevers or broken bones.
L&M's "Fast Track" Emergency Room Service expedites non life-threatening cases to ensure quick treatment, the hospital's Paramedic Intercept Program works collaboratively with surrounding community ambulance services to provide the highest level of emergency response.
