The Healthier, Happier You Staff:
- Mary Ann Nash, MS, RD
- Mary Ann Nash is a registered dietitian with more than 25 years experience in obesity, eating disorders, diabetes, cancer, and prevention. She has a bachelor of science in foods and nutrition from Marywood University in Scranton, Pa., and a Master of Science degree in nutritional biochemistry from Cornell University. Mary Ann also holds the distinction of being a Master Chef. She has received numerous awards, including the 2003 Wellness Award at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital, where she is employed as the nutrition coordinator for the Community Cancer Center and is co-facilitator of the “Happier, Healthier You” series. Mary Ann's passion is found in helping people live healthier, happier lives through understanding nutrition.
- Sal Argento, Executive Chef
- Sal is L&M's Executive Chef. He co-facilitates Healthier, Happier You and is a highly skilled and talented culinary instructor. Sal is passionate about preparing and demonstrating fantastic foods that are good for the palate and the heart.
- Lindsay Beckwith, RN, MPH
- Lindsay coordinates Community Health Education and Prevention Services at L&M Hospital. She is an experienced Health Educator with a clinical background in Respiratory Therapy and Nursing. She holds a Masters degree in Public Health with a specialization in Community Health Education. Lindsay's passion is found in providing innovative, engaging opportunities for people to understand the why and how of prevention.
