Our 16-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit is the only accredited acute rehabilitation unit in Eastern Connecticut. The staff, including physiatrists and a neuropsychologist, work with patients hospitalized because of stroke, brain or spinal cord injury, amputees, or those with advanced medical conditions.
Our Outpatient Rehabilitation Centers provide physical and occupational therapists, speech pathologists, and audiologists who work with patients on easing the transition back to everyday life.
The Occupational Health Center provides extensive case management to rehabilitate those injured on the job and to address the ergonomics of the workplace. Both help employers in evaluating compliance to federal and state workplace safety regulations.
