In Old Saybrook, Lawrence & Memorial’s Therapeutic Fitness & Sports Medicine Center offers a new and innovative way to overcome injuries, increase strength and preserve your health safely.
The Center provides services that enhance the quality of life for people who have health concerns or who are at higher risk for injury. The use of certified athletic trainers or strength and conditioning coaches often can help return people to a full and active lifestyle both quickly and safely.
All fitness programs are designed for each individual client. The Staff go beyond just the physical training aspect by adding encouragement, motivation, understanding and compassion to the mix. It’s a formula for an holistic approach to fitness. The Center is backed by a medical director, and is well supported by the resources of a hospital-based rehabilitation and sports medicine program.
