L&M's Same-Day Surgery Center provides the same quality care that you have come to expect from Lawrence & Memorial Hospital.
Four state-of-the-art operating suites are equipped with the latest surgical equipment including microscopes and video and camera systems. All areas are equipped for complete patient monitoring and comfort.
Same-Day Surgery allows patients to have elective surgery for more than 70 surgical procedures, spend minimal time recovering at the facility and then continue to recover in the comfort of their own homes….all on the same day.

In the Recovery Area…
The latest equipment, personalized care
After surgery you will be taken to the Recovery Area. Our goal is to keep you as comfortable as possible. You will be closely monitored by a registered nurse for the remainder of your stay at the Same-Day Surgery Center. Once you are fully awake, your visitors or family will be able to join you in the Recovery Area. A registered nurse will also call the day after your procedure to check on you and answer questions that you may have.

Lawrence & Memorial's Same-Day Surgery Center is a new state-of-the-art surgery center, located at L&M's Pequot Health Center in Groton.
Our goal is to blend professionals and technology, ensuring the patient the highest level or personal care and patient satisfaction.
