Healing Garden Construction Underway
Recently, construction began on the new Healing Garden at the L+M Cancer Center in affiliation with Dana-Farber Community Cancer Care in Waterford, made possible by a generous gift from Jim & Linda Falcone of Groton Long Point.
Linda, who is a cancer survivor, feels strongly about the power of a Healing Garden to provide comfort and support to patients, their families, and the Center’s staff. Read the full story in L+M’s Magazine of the Falcone’s extraordinary commitment to the Hospital’s Cancer program.
The Garden is being designed by the Mystic firm of Kent + Frost Landscape Architecture. Anyone interested in supporting L+M’s Cancer program is encouraged to call to discuss fundraising opportunities, as well as various donor recognition opportunities within the facility and also in the Healing Garden.
