Biography
Avital Ludomirsky, MD, MPP, completed a pediatric chief resident year at the Boston Combined Residency Program at Boston Children’s Hospital and Boston Medical Center prior to coming to Yale. Dr. Ludomirsky received her undergraduate degree in the School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University and her Doctor of Medicine at New York University School of Medicine. She earned her Masters in Public Policy from Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs. She completed her pediatric training at the Boston Combined Residency Program. Dr. Ludomirsky’s early career has included work in identifying and addressing household material hardship and financial hardship in patients with congenital heart disease.
Career Interests: Dr. Ludomirsky plans to pursue a career that combines the creation of value-based delivery system reform through health policy with clinical practice. She hopes to address social determinants of health and improve quality of care through these delivery system reforms.
Research interests: Research interests include creating and examining interventions to address household material hardship and their impact on pediatric outcomes, analyzing innovative health care delivery models and their impact on socially complex populations, and utilizing value-based health care methods to create delivery system reform that improves access to care and addresses social determinants of health.
