Biography
Joseph Brennan, MD, has been providing cardiac care to Yale Medicine patients for more than 25 years. He specializes in coronary artery disease, hyperlipidemia and cardiac valvular abnormalities, among other problems.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Brennan is medical director for the Coronary Intensive Care Unit and director of inpatient cardiology services at Yale New Haven Hospital. His clinical research interests include developing newer coronary devices and “working on minimally invasive techniques to treat issues that previously would have required surgery,” he says. Dr. Brennan is an associate professor of medicine (cardiology) at Yale School of Medicine.
