Smilow Cancer Hospital Care Center Healing Garden

The Healing Garden at the Smilow Cancer Hospital Care Center in Waterford, was made possible by a generous gift from Jim & Linda Falcone of Groton Long Point.

The Jim and Linda Falcone Healing Garden was dedicated at a ceremony attended by 200 well-wishers in 2014. Linda, who is a cancer survivor, feels strongly about the power of a healing garden to provide comfort and support to patients, their families, and the Center’s staff.

The Healing Garden was designed by the Mystic firm of Kent + Frost Landscape Architecture. Anyone interested in supporting L+M’s Cancer program is encouraged to call to discuss fundraising opportunities, as well as various donor recognition opportunities within the facility and also in the Healing Garden.
