Hand surgery program is under the medical direction of Sepehr Sajjad, MD, chief of hand surgery at L+M.
L+M’s team of board-certified physicians specialize in minimally invasive procedures for common conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger and arthritis. The L+M team is also highly trained and equipped with the best technologies, capable and ready to handle more complex surgeries due to either injury or congenital conditions.
In every case at L+M, patients are treated as individuals, with a medical/surgical plan mapped out for his or her specific needs. And, patients who choose L+M for their surgery will have continuity throughout each phase of their treatment and recovery.
Starting with personalized consultations, the L+M team guides the patient with the latest in diagnostic imaging, surgical equipment and post-surgical rehabilitation.
After surgery, L+M offers a team of certified hand therapists and occupational therapists so your recovery can continue with outpatient physical rehabilitation available through our outpatient rehabilitation sites conveniently located in East Lyme, Waterford and Groton.
Hand procedures are performed at the state-of-the-art surgery suites conveniently located at Lawrence + Memorial's Pequot Health Center in Groton, exit 88 off Interstate 95, and with ample parking. L+M patients find it easier to have procedures performed at the Same-Day Surgery Center, making the entire experience less stressful.
