The team works closely with referring physicians to guide each patient from pre-surgery education through post-surgery rehabilitation and recovery. Minimizing your pain is a goal of the team. Prior to surgery, your plan of pain management is determined by your surgeon and reviewed with you, so you understand the course of treatment which will be taken post-operatively.
Once you are home, your rehabilitation can continue with outpatient physical therapy rehabilitation, available through Lawrence + Memorial's Signature Rehabilitation sites conveniently located in East Lyme, Waterford and Groton.
