Pulmonary Rehabilitation

The Christiane M. Gottman Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital:

The program is located at the main L+M campus and it meets 2 times per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays for approximately 10 weeks.

Pulmonary rehabilitation is a medically monitored exercise program to strengthen muscles and increase endurance and quality of life. It provides education and support to help people understand, manage and cope with lung disease. **The Christiane Gottman Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program follows the guidelines set up by the American Association of Cardio-Vascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR).

If you are interested in the pulmonary rehabilitation program, you will need to speak with your doctor. If your doctor agrees this program would benefit you, he/she will send us a medical order for you to participate. Once we receive the doctor's order, we will contact you. Most Insurances provide coverage.

If you or someone you know has lung disease, please contact us. Don't let lung disease control you; you can control your disease!

**The Christiane M. Gottman Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital is an accredited program by the AACVPR (American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation). This is a voluntary certification process. We have been certified since August of 2005.
