Dr. Michal M. Szpara was born in Poland and emigrated to the US with his family and grew up in Bridgeport, Connecticut. He attended University of Hartford for his undergraduate studies and New York College of Podiatric Medicine for his medical degree. He completed a three year surgical residency in Rhode Island at a Brown University affiliated program which specialized in both conservative and surgical treatment of all foot and ankle pathology. His special interests include foot and ankle fractures, arthroscopy, charcot reconstruction, total ankle replacements, tendon repairs, bunions and hammertoes. During his free time Dr. Szpara likes to travel and spend time with his family.
