Patrick A. Kenney, MD joined the Department of Urology at Yale-New Haven Hospital as an Assistant Professor in July 2013. Dr. Kenney joined Yale from MD Anderson Cancer Center where he completed a Fellowship in Urologic Oncology. He was also a Clinical Specialist in the Department of Critical Care. He received his MD from Columbia University and completed his surgical internship and urology residency at Lahey Clinic and Tufts University School of Medicine.Dr. Kenney cares for patients with genitourinary cancer (kidney, bladder, prostate, upper tract, testis, penis and urethra) through the Prostate and Urologic Program Cancers Program at Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale-New Haven. He is expert in robotic and open cancer surgery. He has a specific interest in clinical trials with a focus on studying the integration of surgery and systemic therapy for locally advanced and metastatic genitourinary cancers.
