Congratulations, School at Work graduates

On Dec. 17, eight Yale New Haven Hospital employees graduated from the School at Work (SAW) program. The seven-month program teaches math, medical terminology, time management and other subjects to employees who want to get ahead in their careers, pursue a new position, improve their skills or further their education. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, SAW used a hybrid virtual/in-person model. Standing (l-r) are: graduate Shannan Allen; Cynthia Lowman, career counselor, YNHHS Institute for Excellence; graduate Amy Jo Cochran; Christopher Scheld, SAW instructor; and graduates Lurdes Dos Santos and Dawn Aranjo-Osborn. Seated (l-r) are: graduates Felicia Franklin, Sabrina Bruce, Artmeatreas Spencer and Vonda Franklin.
