Kelly Poskus, RN, MS; Brooke Spadaccino, RN, MSN

Kelly Poskus, RN, MS, has been named Neuroscience clinical program director, Yale New Haven Hospital. She will oversee inpatient and ambulatory clinical practices and programs. Poskus joined YNHH in 2001 and in 2004 became a staff nurse on the Neurosciences unit (SP 6-3). She served briefly as assistant patient service manager before becoming patient service manager of the Neurosciences Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Poskus earned her BS in health administration at Quinnipiac College, her master’s Entry into Nursing Program certificate and her MS in patient care service and systems administration at the University of Connecticut. She also earned a post-master’s certificate in nursing education from the University of Hartford, and is a fellow of the American Organization of Nurse Executives.

Brooke Spadaccino, RN, MSN, been named clinical program director, Center for Musculoskeletal Care, Yale New Haven Hospital. She will oversee inpatient and ambulatory clinical practices and Center programs. Spadaccino joined YNHH in 1998 on the Orthopedic Trauma unit and was named assistant patient service manager of the Orthopedic Surgery unit (EP 7-7) in 2005. She was most recently patient service manager of the Center for Musculoskeletal Care inpatient unit (Verdi 4 North), which she helped open. Spadaccino earned her BSN from Southern Connecticut State University and her MSN from Sacred Heart University. She is a fellow of the American Organization of Nurse Executives.
