Jenny Cinquemani, RN, MSN; Dirk Johnson, MD; Stacy Vaeth, PharmD, MS; Alison Vail, RN, MSN


Jenny Cinquemani, RN, MSN, has been named patient services manager, Medicine (EP 10-7). She joined YNHH from Bristol Hospital and Medical Group, where she was an emergency department nurse, clinical professional coordinator and, most recently, operations nurse manager. Cinquemani earned her BSN from the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico and her MSN from Chamberlain College of Nursing.

Dirk Johnson, MD, has been named medical director of Surgical Services for the Saint Raphael Campus. He is medical director of the SRC Surgical Intensive Care Unit and an assistant professor of surgery (trauma) at Yale School of Medicine. Dr. Johnson earned his MD from Yale School of Medicine, completed his general surgery residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and Vanderbilt in Nashville; and completed a fellowship in surgical critical care and acute care surgery at Yale.

Stacy Vaeth, PharmD, MS, has been named Yale New Haven Hospital executive director of Pharmacy. In this role, she oversees all aspects of pharmacy services and medication management across inpatient and ambulatory settings, excluding oncology. Vaeth joined Yale New Haven Health in 2012 as Bridgeport Hospital’s director of Pharmacy. She has held a number of leadership positions with the health system since, including executive director of Pharmacy and Respiratory Care at Bridgeport Hospital and system director of Pharmacy at Bridgeport and Greenwich hospitals. Vaeth earned her PharmD degree from the University of Connecticut and master’s in health system pharmacy administration from The Ohio State University.

Alison Vail, RN, MSN, has been named executive director for Quality and Safety, Yale New Haven Health. In this role, she oversees the Performance Improvement, Patient Safety, Infection Prevention and Quality Analytics/Data Abstraction teams within the Office of the Chief Quality Officer. Vail has over 20 years of management experience in the healthcare and technology industries, serving most recently as chief nursing officer at Montefiore Mount Vernon Hospital in New York. Vail earned her BS in chemistry and computer science from the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa, and her MSN from Sacred Heart University.
