100 reasons to celebrate

Yale New Haven Hospital’s Nurse Residency Program recently celebrated a milestone, with its 100th cohort of nurses completing the 12-month program. Since launching in 2005, the Nurse Residency Program has helped more than 2,800 new registered nurses, including recent graduates and nurses with less than one year of experience. YNHH’s program is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Practice Transition Accreditation Program, which sets the global standard for nurse residency programs.
