Kimberly Bergere RN, BSN, has been named patient service manager, Psychiatric Emergency Services. She was most recently assistant patient service manager of the department and before that, was a nurse on the General Adult Psychiatric unit (Celentano 1, Saint Raphael Campus), and the Crisis Intervention Unit, York Street Campus. Bergere earned her BSN from the University of Michigan.

Paula Crombie, LCSW, director, Social Work and Support Services, recently received the 2017 Rev. Schuster Advocacy Award from the Partnership for Strong Communities. She was recognized for her community work to end homelessness and for spearheading the YNHH/Columbus House Medical Respite Program, which provides a safe, consistent environment in which unstably housed patients may recover from a hospital stay. In addition, Crombie was instrumental in getting homelessness added in the electronic health record so social workers can be dispatched to help these people in need. Every day, YNHH sees and assists eight to 10 people experiencing homelessness.

Josh Forler has been named director of Administration for the Center for Musculoskeletal Care, Yale New Haven Hospital, and Smilow Cancer Hospital. He joined Greenwich Hospital in 2009 as director of Continuous Improvement. In 2015 he became a founding member of Yale New Haven Health System’s Internal Consulting Group, where he managed labor and benefit projects and the L+M Healthcare integration. Forler earned his BS in business administration – accounting and his MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University, Ontario, Canada.
