YNHHS wants to hear from you! Take the 2018 Employee Engagement Survey

Yale New Haven Health System encourages all employees to take the 2018 YNHHS Employee Engagement Survey, which runs 7 am Monday, April 9 through 7 am Monday, April 30.

“Employees are encouraged to share their candid feedback on the survey,” said Kevin A. Myatt, senior vice president and chief human resources officer. “Employee feedback helps us create and maintain a positive work environment, confirm what we are doing well, identify where there is still work to be done and measure progress from previous surveys. Your insights help strengthen the partnership between employees and our organization, ensuring a culture that supports our success.”

Taking the survey also supports achievement of Yale New Haven Hospital’s 2018 Performance Incentive Plan (PIP) goals. The threshold goal is 79.9 percent of employees taking the survey; target is 81.9 percent; and maximum is 83.9 percent participation.

Employees from all YNHHS organizations will be asked identical survey questions covering areas such as professional growth, teamwork, wellness and safety. The survey will also include questions about system-wide diversity and inclusion work, along with an open-ended question that allows employees to further comment on their work experience.

This is the first time Press Ganey, Inc. will administer YNHHS’ Employee Engagement Survey. The independent company will compile employees’ confidential responses and provide results in summaries; no individual responses will be shared.

The survey is open to all employees hired on or before Feb. 5, 2018. Once it is live, employees may use any computer with internet access and follow the link, which will be provided by email through Press Ganey and posted on each YNHHS organization’s main intranet landing page, Employee Self Service and the YNHHS HR intranet landing page. To take the survey, employees will use a private password that is a combination of the two digits of their birth month, last two digits of their birth year and last five digits of their employee ID number. This password provides access to Press Ganey’s confidential site and links responses to the correct organization and reporting structure.
