LM Healthcare names Joshua Morris chief financial officer

New London, CT/Westerly, RI (November 19, 2021) – After an extensive search, Joshua Morris has been appointed chief financial officer/ vice president of finance for L+M Healthcare (LMH). L+M Healthcare, a member of Yale New Haven Health, includes Lawrence + Memorial Hospital, Westerly Hospital, the Visiting Nurse Association of Southeastern Connecticut and other ambulatory services throughout the region. His appointment became effective Nov. 15.

Morris comes to L+M from Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Portsmouth, NH where he was the chief financial officer for nine years. The hospital is one of three hospitals in New Hampshire operated by HCA Healthcare which is comprised of 185 hospitals and 2,000+ sites of care in 20 states and the United Kingdom.

With more than 19 years’ experience, Morris brings a strong and varied background in healthcare finance.

He succeeds Stephen Allegretto who retired as L+M CFO in September after more than 35 years with Yale New Haven Health.

Morris earned his undergraduate degree and Masters of Business Administration from the University of West Georgia. He recently moved to Connecticut with his wife Nancy and their two sons. Nancy was born at L+M and grew up on the Connecticut shoreline and is happy to return home where the family will continue to enjoy hiking, skiing, travelling and supporting the Red Sox.

Lawrence + Memorial Hospital, a member of Yale New Haven Health, is a non-profit, 308-bed general and acute care hospital providing patient care to medical, surgical, pediatric, psychiatric and obstetrical patients in southeastern Connecticut and southern Rhode Island since 1912.
