Urologists join medical staff at L+M Hospital

New London, CT (July 16, 2018) – Urologists Joseph Renzulli, MD, and Joseph Brito, MD, have joined the medical staff at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital in New London and are accepting new patients.

The two physicians, who are part of the Department of Urology at Yale School of Medicine and Yale New Haven Hospital, will provide care for patients locally with urological cancers, as well as general adult urological conditions.

Dr. Renzulli, Associate Professor of Urology at Yale School of Medicine, offers his patients laparoscopic, robotic, and other minimally invasive techniques for treating urologic cancers, including prostate, kidney, bladder and testicular cancers. A large focus of his practice is on men's health, including general adult urologic conditions. Dr. Renzulli has specialized expertise in the diagnosis and medical and surgical treatment of prostate cancer.

Dr. Renzulli received his undergraduate degree Magna Cum Laude in Biology from Boston University, and his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. He completed his residency training at Yale School of Medicine and previously practiced at The Miriam Hospital and The Alpert Medical School of Brown University.

Dr. Joseph Brito attended Middlebury College followed by George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. He completed a residency in Urology at Rhode Island Hospital and Alpert Medical School of Brown University and trained at Yale School of Medicine in Clinical Oncology. Dr. Brito is a member of the American Urological Association.

With specialized training and expertise, Dr. Brito provides general urologic care to patients in the New London area, with additional focus on minimally invasive techniques for managing prostate, bladder and kidney cancers.
