Dr Vafek, a native of New Jersey, graduated from Yale University in 2007 with a degree in biology. She received her medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in 2011 and went on to complete her orthopaedic surgery training at Wake Forest University in North Carolina. She completed sub-specialty training with a fellowship in Foot and Ankle Surgery at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush in Chicago. She provides comprehensive surgical and nonsurgical treatment of foot and ankle disorders with a special interest in deformity correction, sports-related injuries, arthritis and fractures of the foot and ankle.
