NEW LONDON, CT (December 9, 2020) - The L+M Hospital Auxiliary has kicked off this year’s “Lights of Hope” fundraising campaign which invites members of the community to make gifts of any amount in honor or remembrance of a loved one.
In addition to family members and other loved ones, donors may choose to honor by name a caregiver, first responder or other professional or volunteer, who has been especially helpful in this past extraordinary year.
Lights will adorn a live tree which will be on display on L+M Hospital grounds beginning the evening of December 8.

Westerly Hospital celebrates 100 years of careWESTERLY, RI (Aug. 19, 2025) – Today, Westerly Hospital celebrated its 100th anniversary with the unveiling of a timeline in its main lobby that chronicles a century of compassionate community care that today includes access to world-class care through its affiliation with Yale New Haven Health. The hospital opened its doors on Aug. 17, 1925.
