Laboratory Services

Overview

The Clinical and Anatomic Pathology laboratories at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital provide timely, quality and accurate test results that are important to patients and physicians and inform clinical decision-making.

The Clinical laboratories are equipped with "cutting edge" instrumentation and information management technology and employ a skilled and highly qualified team of managers, medical technologists, technicians, and phlebotomists.

The Anatomic Pathology department is staffed with AP/CP board-certified pathologists and pathology assistants. All areas of general surgical pathology, including bone marrows/lymph nodes, are covered. Areas of sub-specialization include gastrointestinal tract, liver, breast, and lung. Non-gynecologic cytology services, including rapid interpretation, are available.
