The Auxiliary of Lawrence + Memorial Hospital is open to those interested in supporting the hospital. We welcome new members to help grow and cultivate our support of the hospital and our community. For more information, contact us at [email protected].

Why join the Auxiliary?

Being part of a group that lifts our hospital (morally, financially and through hands-on support) has a way of grounding you in something bigger than yourself. Every one of us will walk through those hospital doors at some point, whether for celebration, routine care, or in the wake of life’s uninvited surprises. And in every one of those moments, visible and invisible, the Auxiliary’s work helps shape the experience. Membership is a chance to strengthen the place that holds our community in its most vulnerable and most hopeful hours.

What does it entail?

There are several ways to be involved with the Auxiliary of Lawrence + Memorial Hospital:

• Become a member: Our annual dues are $50, and you are invited to attend or help out at any of our events throughout the year. This includes our Celebrate Nurses luncheon, the Spring and Annual meetings, Lights of Love, holiday meal distribution and other events, fundraisers and group activities.
• Serve on the Board: The Board meets monthly for 90 minutes to review business, make decisions and attend to the running of the Auxiliary. Some of these meetings are hosted by our members in their homes, some are in Baker Auditorium at the hospital and, in the case of inclement weather, some are held via Zoom. Board positions include President, Vice President, Recording Secretary, Corresponding Secretary, Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer and Immediate Past President as well as member-at-large positions.
• Get more involved: Our committees are central to making sure the good work we do actually gets done. Get involved in whatever excites you!
