Sponsorship Requests

Lawrence + Memorial Hospital is committed to the communities we serve in greater New London County and programming that directly affects the social drivers of health by enhancing peoples’ lives and by supporting local organizations that share our organizational values.

• Please review the guidelines, to ensure the request aligns with L+M Hospital’s mission, vision and values and meets at least one of the qualifying criteria:
  • Address social drivers of health
    • Food insecurity
    • Housing/Homelessness
  • Support issues concerning education
    • Healthcare careers
• Support functions related to addressing opportunities identified by and operationalized in the Community Health Improvement Plan
  • Community Health and Wellbeing
  • Access to Care
  • Behavioral Health
  • Healthy Lifestyle
• Enhance the wellbeing of our communities
  • Child enrichment
  • Cultural activities
• Certification of 501 (c) (3) tax status under the IRS Code/W-9 Forms/Physician Owner Verification documents as appropriate
• Sponsorship requests for the following are not permitted:
  • For umbrella grant-making organizations, e.g. those raising funds to support one or more other organizations (e.g., local Rotary clubs)
  • For individual participation in sporting or fundraising events
  • For an organization’s direct capital campaign or to support operating expenses
• Sponsorships will be limited to one event per organization per fiscal year.
• Requests are accepted throughout the year and all decisions will be made within 30 days to the organization via email.
