Lawrence + Memorial Hospital's Cardiovascular Department continues to provide exceptional care to our community. Both our Echocardiography and Vascular Laboratories have been awarded accreditation demonstrating the highest level of quality standards from the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Echocardiography Laboratories.

Our department has been recognized from the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers as a Credentialed Sonographer Workplace. Our talented sonographers are registered in their specialty of care and continue to achieve higher levels of training and education. Continued education is extremely important in our department because of the technological advancements in Cardiovascular Imaging. Our equipment is state-of -the art with the latest technology providing the best image quality and performance. Our equipment has 3D Cardiac Imaging capabilities.

L+M is the only hospital in SE Connecticut to offer this service. We can see hearts and blood vessels in color and accurately obtain blood flow measurements. Our registered pediatric sonographers and Yale Pediatric Cardiac Clinic offer the latest and best care right here in SE Connecticut. Our Vascular lab continues to grow and offer new services in wound care and vein care.
